Sie haben mir mit Ihrem inhaltsreichen
Heftchen und dem einleitenden
sehr schönen Gedicht eine unbe-
schreiblich große Freude bereitet.
Die Gabe ist ebenso sinnig als freund-
schaftlich ausgedacht und hat mei-
nem Herzen sehr wohl gethan.
Haben Sie aufrichtigen, warmen
Dank! Ich war gestern so in Ar-
beit, dass ich nicht, so wie ich wollte
sofort denseleb aussprechen konnte.
Ich bitte Sie die ganze Jubelfeier
an "Über Land und Meer" zu senden,
natürlich in einem geschriebenen
Aufsatz, der ja im Zusammen-
hang Ihre Berichte, ergänzt.
durch meine Zeitung, die ich Ihnen
sende, enthalten kann, ich
schrieb deshalb gestern an
Baiseb(?), habe aber noch
keine Antwort.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.
