Geschichte des Bestandsbildners: Der Kaufmann Gralf Eduard Graalfs (13.2.1867-16.4.1945) gründete das Agentur-, Kommissions- und Warengeschäft im Februar 1896. 1934 traten die Kaufleute Johann Hermann Böse und Eugen Wilhelm Böse als Gesellschafter ein. Nach dem Tod des Firmengründers führten diese die Geschäfte bis 1978 fort. Graalfs erwarb 1911 das Haus Straßburger Straße 62, das er gemeinsam mit seiner Frau Frieda, geb. Engelhardt, lange Jahre bewohnte.
Bestandsgeschichte: Der drei Archivkartons umfassende Bestand wurde dem Staatsarchiv 2017 von späteren Bewohnern des Hauses Straßburger Straße 62 zu Eigentum übergeben. Er umfasst Geschäftsbücher, Rechnungsunterlagen und geschäftliche Korrespondenz vorrangig aus der Gründungsphase des Agentur-, Kommissions- und Warengeschäftes G. Ed. Graalfs sowie privates Schriftgut des Firmengründers, darunter mehrere Bände eingehender Briefe seiner späteren Frau Frieda aus den Jahren 1897-1899.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.
