Beruf: Ingenieur, Unternehmer Geboren am 26.12.1839 in Grünstadt/Rheinpfalz, gestorben am 24.12.1923 in Wiesbaden. Schüler des Hüttenkundlers Peter Tunner an der Bergakademie Leoben/Österreich; ab 1874 technischer Direktor beim Hörder Bergwerks- und Hüttenverein; 1878/79 maßgeblich an der Einführung des Thomas-Verfahrens in der deutschen Stahlindustrie beteiligt. Neben Forschungsarbeiten auf dem Gebiet der Eisenhüttenkunde tätig auf dem Gebiet der Verwendung von Hochofenschlacke für landwirtschaftliche Zwecke; beteiligt an der Einführung von Wassergas für den industriellen Gebrauch (Beleuchtungen). 1885 und 1887 bis 1891 Präsident der Handelskammer zu Dortmund, der er ab 1875 angehörte und in der er Schutzzollinteressen vertrat; Mitbegründer des Centralverbandes Deutscher Industrieller. Nach seinem Ausscheiden aus dem Hörder Verein seit 1891 Zivilingenieur in Wiesbaden. Zwischen 1903 und 1922 erwarb er gemeinsam mit seinem Sohn Dr. Otto Massenez zahlreiche Patente in Deutschland und anderen europäischen Staaten; 1909 Dr.-Ing. e.h. der Technischen Hochschule Charlottenburg. 1 Karton Patente für Deutschland, England, Frankreich, Luxemburg, Ungarn (1902-1922); englische Patentschriften zum Eisenhüttenwesen (1816-1880).
The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
