Enthält: Der Korporal Herman Franz, dessen Bruder Bernard Franz und die Gebrüder Berndt und Johan Dirichsen aus Brochterbeck, alle Soldaten unter Hauptmann Johan von Niedeggen, werden beschuldigt, bei Brochterbeck einen Soldaten ermordet zu haben. Sie werden aus der Haft entlassen und der Stadt verwiesen. Die drei erstgenannten bitten im November 1639 von Meppen aus, wieder in die Stadt zu ihren Familien zurückkehren zu dürfen. Der angebliche Mittäter Berndt Freye ist von dem Richter Silvester Danckelman in Lingen in Haft genommen. Erwähnt werden Herman Schloiss; Profoß.
